Douglas W. Scott, a principal of the Alison Company, opened the Santa Barbara office in 2014. A 40-year veteran in the commercial mortgage industry, Scott was previously principal of another prominent Southern California mortgage banking company. Scott and his wife live in Santa Barbara where he is currently serving as President of Los Padres Council of the Boy Scouts of America, serving the youth of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.​
